Watchmen, we watched recently, when it first came out. Got it from a movie download service. One of the best I’ve seen in a while. Be warned though, it’s not a movie that is for kids under the age of 14 though.

A waiver of excess is just like a deductible as it’s the part of the car insurance that you will have to pay when you make a claim after damage is done to your vehicle. The term waiver of excess is more commonly used in the UK while the word deductible is used in the US. If you need to rent a car in the UK then you will be introduced to a waiver of excess.

When the insurance coverage exceeds the deductable amount the waiver of excess will be paid in full. SO if you accumulate $5,000 in an accident then you will have to pay the excess waiver that was on the insurance policy. This fee is not included with your insurance premium and you’ll have to pay it when you report an accident that you want your policy to cover.

In the example above you’d be better off paying the $2,000 rather than having the insurance company pay the difference and then raise the premium of your car insurance because you made a claim. If you’re a young driver you should be cautious before reporting an insurance claim as most insurance companies will increase the premium by a good amount.

A waiver of excess can and will vary from plan to plan. If you choose for your policy to have a larger waiver of excess then your monthly payments will be lower as the insurance company will have to cover less in the event of an accident. Over time the increase that you would have had to pay will save you a good amount of money. This is true as long as you don’t get into an accident and have to pay the waiver at a time that is bad for you.

If you have an insurance policy and find the waiver of excess to be a percent rather than a figure you should consider asking if they can get a regular figure for it. This is because the percent can hurt you if you are involved in an expensive accident and have to pay thousands of dollars rather than a set price.

When you pay the waiver of excess it usually is to cover damage that was done to your car whether it’s due to an accident, theft, or weather damage. You might have been led to believe that the waiver of excess is only for auto insurance. However there are many types of insurance that have a waiver of excess on them. This day in age, people are turning to religion in droves. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism has embedded it’s ideology in the hearts and minds of millions globally. While all these religions deserve respect and tolerance, few in the west have a grasp on the complicated concept of Buddhism.

The end all and be all of online encyclopedias, Wikipedia grabs the first slot on a Google search for the term Buddhism and the breakdown reads like this: “Buddhism is a religion and a philosophy encompassing a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices, largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha (Pali/Sanskrit “the awakened one”). The Buddha lived and taught in the northeastern Indian subcontinent sometime between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE.

He is recognized by adherents as an awakened teacher who shared his insights to help sentient beings end suffering, achieve nirvana, and escape what is seen as a cycle of suffering and rebirth. Buddhism is traditionally conceived as a path of liberation attained through insight into the ultimate nature of reality. Two major branches of Buddhism are recognized: Theravada (“The School of the Elders”) and Mahayana (“The Great Vehicle”). Theravada, the oldest surviving branch, has a widespread following in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia, and Mahayana is found throughout East Asia and includes the traditions of Pure Land, Zen, Nichiren Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Shingon, Tendai and Shinnyo-en. In some classifications, a third branch, Vajrayana, is recognized, although many see this as an offshoot of the Mahayana. While Buddhism remains most popular within Asia, both branches are now found throughout the world.

Various sources put the number of Buddhists in the world at between 230 million and 500 million.” After living abroad in Asia for several years I have found that Buddhist cultures are more tolerant because the focus is on the ’self’ and the meditation on the calming of the mind, concentrating on controlled breathing and the idea that meditation to bring one closer to peace is central to discovering one’s self.

If you have the opportunity to investigate the practice of Buddhism, I would highly recommend it. I’m not saying to take up the path and convert to a religion but the calming affect that is central to this religions concept will bring a peaceful serenity to your life that you may find useful. All in all respect and tolerance for all religious perspectives is something that people are beginning to make a conscious effort to practice and understanding ideas from various religions can teach us an appreciation that can bring us all closer together.

If there is anything in our lives we want to avoid, it is piling up a large amount of clutter. Nobody likes to clean up a mess. It’s better to avoid a mess in the first place. Saves you the time of having to clean it up later.

We have a habit of creating messes everywhere we go. Not only do we do it in our livings rooms and in our attics, we also do it in our fridges. There are people who buy a large stainless steel american fridge freezer just to solve the problem of having a big pile up in their fridges. But even with all that space, you can still create a big mess. So I want to share some tips with you to prevent this from happening in the future.

1. Group your foods. By grouping your foods and storing them where they belong, you can avoid a big headache. Put veggies in the vegetable compartment. Keep all your bottles in your fridge’s bottle rack. You probably also have other things such as poultry and sea food. Store those in a designated place as well.

When you group all your foods in a certain manner, you can keep your refrigerator organized. Don’t let this become an obsessive compulsive disorder. There is no need to take it quite that far. It’s just that grouping can really save lots of time.

2. Labels. Labels are a low tech but highly efficient solution of preventing clutter in your refrigerator. You can either use paper labels or a market that’s meant for putting temporary messages on your food containers.

When using food containers such as Tupperware or Ziplocs, it’s best if they are transparent. Think about it. With see through containers, you don’t have to open each and every one when you are rummaging around, looking for what you need.

3. Don’t pile up foods. Resist the urge to pile stuff up at all times. But let’s just be honest here. You’re never going to finish all your left overs. When something sits in your fridge for a certain amount of days, just throw it out.

The next time you are rummaging around in your fridge, trying to find what you are looking for, remember these tips. If you apply them well, you will end up saving lots of time finding the food you are looking for!

Loud Pipes

I have been reading and hearing allot lately about people who are saying that loud Motorcycle Pipes are a major problem in the world. These groups are trying to get those in Government to pass all sorts of new inspection laws for Motorcycle Pipes.

Seeing as Motorcycles make up such a small percentage of the Traffic on the road I would say this problem is very minimal at best. ( I wonder how many cars with bad mufflers are heard that many think are Motorcycles)

These people complain saying Motorcycle Riders like loud pipes because they are juvenile and want to show off and say Hey look at me and draw attention to themselves.

The reason many Bikers like loud pipes is not to say look at me, its to say look out for Me! Many Car drivers these days are talking on the phone, texting , putting on make up , eating , playing loud music , watching DVDs and just not paying attention to the road in front of them. If your in a car an you get hit ,You may get a dent in your car, We could Die! (Nothing enjoyable in life is completely safe)

These groups against loud pipes know gathering citizens together to complain is very easy , if they ask people while they are sitting around all summer long bored “Have you ever heard a Loud Motorcycle Go By?” they are going to say yes they Have!” These groups are then going to talk about how annoying these Motorcycles are and convince these bored people how much better their lives would be if these Motorcycles where gone! These bored people are going to jump right on board!

But now ask these same people when was the last time you heard a loud Motorcycle go by? They will probably hard pressed to find an answer! Was it Weeks ago? Months ago? was it Two years ago?

There are already laws on the books in every state that say a Motorcycles pipes can only be so loud! We do not need new laws on the books that most officers will do nothing about while others will abuse !

This Country spends too much time whining about things! Lets stop and think about Motorcycles. Motorcycles prevent traffic, They prevent wear and tear on the roads, They are great for saving Fuel. They are also a great relaxer, Those who Ride Motorcycles are a lot less stressed!

If people stopped complaining about Motorcycles and went and rode a Motorcycle they might not be so bored with their lives and they would have something better to do with their time!!!

Those who Ride enjoy Life a lot More, This is like therapy and religion all rolled up into one for us! Please do not bring the stress and problems of your dull boring lives into our world !
