All About The Wii Controller And Its Options

Posted by Kyle Anderson on Apr 22, 2010 in Console

Nintendo’s successful Wii video game console has many games that go with it. They operate by manipulating wireless remote controls. The Wii controller has several options. This article will discuss the types of controllers available and what they are used for.

As you know, the controller that comes with the Wii console has a rumble feature to remind sleeping gamers that it is their turn or to add depth to the game experience. It also has a built-in speaker, so the sound of the game is right at the player’s fingertips. The basic controller comes in four different colors: black, white, blue and pink. For power, the Wii remote uses batteries and a recharging station is also available separately.

The Nunchuk can work hand-in-hand with the basic remote controller. It connects to the remote via a cable that is amply long enough so as not to impede game play. The Nunchuk makes the characters in the games move faster and with greater fluidity. When playing games that require the use of a Nunchuk, the primary remote controller is also used. They are available in white or black.

A Cap On Xbox 360

Posted by Silas Steaphenee on Feb 26, 2010 in Console

So you are playing your favourite game on Xbox 360. Perhaps it’s halo three, perhaps it’s Guitar Hero. Suddenly the screen freezes up and then goes blank. And what do you know, the green lights on the front of the console turn into 3 red lights.

Don’t be concerned, it CAN Be Fixed

Before you panic and throw that Xbox 360 out, let us consider your options when it comes to a way to fix my Xbox 360 – 3 red lights.

The reason why you are getting those lights is actually extremely simple. They’re a code that tells you some internal part is malfunctioning. It is like the check engine light on the car.

The reason for that malfunction all goes back to heat.

As you almost certainly know, Xbox 360 gets awfully hot. Microsoft did not do an excellent job with the look of the console, and over 10% of Xbox 360s get the 3 Red Lights ( oftentimes called the Red Ring of Death ).

Now you might think that the system is toast or you are going to have to purchase a new Xbox 360, but there are fixes available.

What Is The History Of The Xbox360

Posted by Todd Schuyler on Jan 30, 2010 in Xbox 360

Welcome to my Xbox360 report. This report will detail the origination of Xbox360. The Xbox360 was coined after a marketing firm that it hired conducted a survey which asked people whether they thought the Xbox evoked a more “next generation” or “next-gen” sound. It was apparent that Microsoft was having worries at that time that sticking to Xbox2 as the name of its new video game console would make it appear or sound older or less “cutting-edge” than its main rival, the PlayStation 3 or PS3.

Keeping this concept in mind, Microsoft announced initially that it has successfully produced a set of fresh 360 backwards compatibility update of the Xbox which the firm is scheduled to release anytime within the week. This is in keeping with the company’s commitment to concentrate on the continuous improvement of the console’s features. Peter Moore, the game’s top honcho, said the updates are presently having their final testing at Microsoft. This created a huge buzz.
