Have you seen Fight Club yet? Most everyone has, but a few viewers have actually somehow managed to miss this movie. Of course, it wasn’t just a movie, it was also something of a cultural event. Love it or hate it, you have to respect that it was one of the most influential films of the last twenty years, at least deserving as much respect as Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction or Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas. It was the movie that ended the nineties as those two movies began the era, and certainly one of the must download movies of the decade.
The story follows an unnamed narrator portrayed by Ed Norton. There’s a lot of “Office Space” type humor as he disparages his corporate white collar job, but there’s an ugliness to it here, a darkness not present in Office Space. The movie is very deep and brooding and twisted, while at the same time sarcastic and nonchalant about the whole thing.
He meets two people who change his life, Tyler Durden, and a new woman played by Helena Bonham Carter. Durden, played by Brad Pitt, is an unusual character, completely unbound by societal rules. Think of Kramer from Seinfeld. Now imagine if Kramer wanted to lead a violent revolution. There you have Tyler Durden. Read more...

The Warriors by Walter Hill is one of those movies that’s always been a cult legend, but which has, in recent years, become an even bigger cult legend as more and more people catch on. The film mixes a futuristic sci fi themed setting with seventies New York, fifties street gang flicks, and Greek legend, making one of the all time must see action movie downloads.
The story follows The Warriors, a Coney Island street gang, as they make their way across town to see Cyrus, the leader of the Riffs, the city’s biggest street gang. Cyrus riles up all the gangs in the city with talk of uniting and taking New York over block by block, taxing the mafia, the cops, the businesses, everyone, until they are the dominating force in New York.
That’s when Cyrus gets shot! The leader of the Rogues, a low down gang of nobodies, takes a pot shot at Cyrus for no good reason, and pins the murder on the Warriors. Now the Warriors have to get back to their home turf, Coney Island, by racing across the city with every gang in New York City out for their blood. The film is one wild night from there on as they’re hounded by their rivals, the Rogues, and the cops. Read more...

The movie that made Steve Martin a household name, the Jerk took audiences by surprise with its over the top comedy, immediately launching the next phase of the comedian’s career and turning him into a film star overnight. The next time you want to laugh til it hurts, put The Jerk on your movie downloads queue. Directed by Carl Reiner, it’s one of those classic films you need to see sometime in your life.
Martin stars as Navin R. Johnson, a “poor black child” from the rural south. Yes, it’s silly. Never really able to dig the blues like his brothers, he hears some muzak on the radio one night, his feet start to move, and he realizes that, somewhere out there, he can find a place where he fits in.
Navin is, without a doubt, one of the all time great comedic heroes. He’s capable of misreading every single situation, no matter how simple, to the furthest and most hilarious extremes. Every line is killer, and you’ll probably find Johnson’s dialog entering the same list as the stuff from Monty Python, The Big Lebowski and Terminator 2, you know, the lines you’re always quoting, even when the situation’s not that appropriate. “How were you supposed to know that was Iron Balls MacKenzie?” Read more...

One of the best developments out there in my opinion are those movie download services. It’s a great way that you can watch many choices of movies online. It’s not often that you can catch up on a series that you haven’t seen for a while either. But with movie download services you can.
These movie download services give you the chance to have legal movie downloads, and with paying very little money. In many cases you may have a small monthly subscription that you will need to pay, but it’s saving you money in the long run.
Unless you are getting Divx downloads you will most likely be able to watch those movies with no software needed. In some cases you can even burn DVDs from these movie download services. Add to your collection, after you know you like the movie.
Heck with the prices of going to a movie theater you can make up the cost of these movie download services easily. Even with renting a movie in a video store, it seems like the prices continue to increase every year. Read more...

If you have been looking for movie downloads on the Internet for quite some time now, you have probably found that it is rather difficult to find genuine and legitimate resources where you can legally download movies for your viewing pleasure. However, things have changed in recent years and it is certainly not impossible anymore.
Ordering movies online and downloading them directly as much quicker depending on your broadband connection. A broadband connection will take a few hours at most, and summer the thus to one’s will allow you to download entire movies and just 20 minutes or so.
Fortunately, the movie companies are finally started to satisfy the popular and ever increasing demand of being able to get movies quickly. Keoma is something like “The Last Spaghetti Western”. The film came out right at the end of the genre’s lifespan as a marketable commodity, and it seems to look back upon the era with a sense of both nostalgia and sadness. It’s something of an apocalyptic film as far as spaghetti westerns go, and definitely one of the all time must see movie downloads as far as the genre goes.
The movie borrows liberally from other films in the genre, specifically Django, from where it gets the idea of setting the film in a town that’s been quarantined due to a plague, and the inhumane land barons who keep medicine out and quarantined patients in. The film has a very existential feel to it, so it’s kind of the spaghetti western answer to the great The Seventh Seal.
Beyond just the atmosphere, the film really is truly existential in more ways than one. The film takes a lot of strange, random turns that can only be explained as “the universe is a strange place!” The movie really does throw some surprises at you and really lives up to Camus’ quote, that the most existential thing to experience would be to die in a random car accident for no reason at all. Even though choosing legal movie downloads will cost you a few bucks, choosing illegal or unlicensed movie downloads could end up costing you a heck of a lot more in fines and court costs.
Moreover, although you will incur costs for legal movie downloads, they are minimal as compared to the price you’ll pay for DVD’s or store rentals at your local Blockbuster store. Not only that, but the fact is that if you use file sharing sites to download your illegal movies, you infringe on the copyright laws of the owners of the productions.
Don’t download them illegally because you might be robbing away someone’s hard earned money. Besides, the risk of downloading a movie illegally is not worth it, consider the number of scrupulous elements out there releasing viruses and what not. Even if the file is clean, you could still end up coughing out a lot of money because of the fines and other court charges that you might have to fill.
Legal movie download sites have a number of ways to charge you for their services. A monthly subscription charge is a viable option, which will allow you to have access to unlimited number of movie downloads per month when the subscription has been activated. Read more...

If you want to see a straight forward, no nonsense action flick, then the next time you log in to your movie download service, put Rambo on the queue. Rambo 4. It’s just called Rambo even though it’s the fourth in the series. It goes like this: First Blood, First Blood Part 2: Rambo, Rambo 3, and then just Rambo. It’s confusing, there’s no telling why they did it like that. Why not just First Blood, Rambo 2, Rambo 3 and Rambo 4? Well there’s no telling. But, Rambo is sort of a return to the roots of the series.
The movie is simple and straight forward. Rambo meets a woman he likes, she gets kidnapped, he kills all the bad guys to save her. Rambo 2 and 3 went the opposite directions, making the stories too complicated and in the end suffering for it. Those movies felt like bloated Hollywood excess, Rambo is raw, dirty, gritty, lean and relatively low budget.
The best of the series is still First Blood. First Blood was a very human, real movie, focusing on the disillusionment of the Vietnam Veterans upon returning home from the war. The second and third movies in the series then were sort of insults to the original. While Rambo is certainly an action movie, it also fits some social commentary into the proceedings. Read more...

Technology has moved quickly, what used to take special media storage and special media machines has now changed, and movie downloads are now available for your family movie night at home.
The original family movie night started with a machine called a VCR or a Beta player, you could purchase movies, rent them, and even create your own library. In fact, movie rental stores were popping up all over. Watching movies on TV caused almost as much time in commercials as the movie time itself, and this too has changed. These movies allowed you to have your popcorn, your pop, and allowed a large family to enjoy a night’s entertainment in their own home watching one of the newest releases without theater fees.
Of course, being able to stop your rented movie was a new bonus, you take a bathroom break, answer the phone, or catch someone up who had to leave for a moment. And then, if you bought the movie instead of renting it, it was played over and over again for the family to enjoy. Read more...
