I have been reading and hearing allot lately about people who are saying that loud Motorcycle Pipes are a major problem in the world. These groups are trying to get those in Government to pass all sorts of new inspection laws for Motorcycle Pipes.
Seeing as Motorcycles make up such a small percentage of the Traffic on the road I would say this problem is very minimal at best. ( I wonder how many cars with bad mufflers are heard that many think are Motorcycles)
These people complain saying Motorcycle Riders like loud pipes because they are juvenile and want to show off and say Hey look at me and draw attention to themselves.
The reason many Bikers like loud pipes is not to say look at me, its to say look out for Me! Many Car drivers these days are talking on the phone, texting , putting on make up , eating , playing loud music , watching DVDs and just not paying attention to the road in front of them. If your in a car an you get hit ,You may get a dent in your car, We could Die! (Nothing enjoyable in life is completely safe) Read more...

I wrote an article a while back called “Why speak to the Motorcycle Clubs in your area before starting a new MC?” It was about why those wishing to start new Motorcycle Clubs should go and speak to those who have come before them. If you have not read the article look it up on my March 2009 archive page on NY-Biker.com
Since then, I’ve begun seeing and hearing some things that worry me. I have seen many groups popping up. Some of these groups have names like Lone Wolf or Independent Riders. While I suppose the names are meant to distance these groups from real motorcycle clubs, they still resemble legitimate clubs in the way they dress, and to a certain degree, the way they act.
Now I am sure some of you are saying “hey LJ these guys just want to do their own thing back off a bit, what really is the harm in what these guys are doing?” Well that’s the Million dollar Question! Exactly what is the real harm? Let me see if I can explain how I see it. Read more...

It is a clich that installing radios and stereo in an expensive car especially in Volvo is difficult. It could be in fact by the type of system that is purchased. There are simple as well as complex stereos that are available in market. If the instructions on how to install a radio in Volvo is followed, it could be very easy to finish the job and without any professional help. The first advice that has to be followed is that the radio that is purchased must be of proper size and this will ease the effort of installing it.
Why do we encounter a problem during installation.? Is it because of insufficient knowledge and experience to do this job. The answer is no. The problem arises when we make a wrong choice of stereo for our volvo which gives a series of complications. So our first job is to ensure if we are making a correct purchase. Compatibility needs to be checked. The perfect and matching stereo is not common for all volvo. It may vary from one year to another. Sometimes it may also change with different models. Read more...

I have felt and been a part of Biker Brotherhood almost all of my life. Growing up around My Father (Freelance Author on the Biker Lifestyle Pappy) and my Uncle Trey, I was taught what Biker Brotherhood was about from a very young age. As I grew up I heard many stories about the fun had at Parties, Runs and Rallies.
I also heard about protests (Mostly Helmet) I heard how Bikers were the last of the true Americans. I was taught Bikers believe in Freedom and are willing to fight for it at all costs! As I got older I attended many events and I rode allot.
I became active in Motorcycle Rights groups (mostly ABATE of NY) and I did my part to protect and promote the Biker Lifestyle, I wrote many articles in Biker Magazines and I DJed and MCed many Bike events helping to spread the word of Biker Rights. Read more...

How to Program a Pioneer Radio? Pioneer audio system is one of the best audio systems that you can find in the market. It is also very economical when it is compared with other audio system companies available in the market. When it comes to radio systems the scenario is the same. Pioneer is one of the best in radio systems also. Generally, Pioneer radio system can store up to six radio stations. In recent Pioneer radio systems you can store up to nine radio stations. In some models even more than nine stations can be stored. So, buying a pioneer radio system is a very god choice. After you buy a pioneer radio system the first and foremost step is to install it in your car’s dash board. Make use of Pioneer’s instruction manual to install the radio system in the dash board correctly. Once the radio is installed properly the next and most important step is to program it. Many of the “facts” in this story are based on Legend and Myth as much of the history of the Motorcycle and it’s Culture was lost in the Great Rebellion of 2057.
Taken from a history book in the year 2095… Motorcycles And The Culture They Inspire 1868-2017
Motorcycles started out as steam engines strapped on to bicycles in 1868. Soon after the gas engine took its place and by the 1900’s there were Motorcycle shops and Dealers all over the World. For awhile, Motorcycle’s were simply used as transportation. In 1907, when Henry Fords, Ford Motor Company, released the Model-T at a price many could afford, the Motorcycle soon went from a necessity to a luxury item.
In the 1940’s, the Motorcycle Culture really took off. An organization called the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) held races and events all over the United States of America. In 1947 the AMA held an event in Hollister California. This event was attended by many of the AMA Racing Teams and Motorcycle Clubs. This event marks the beginning of the separation of Motorcyclists which eventually led to the end of Motorcycling in the year 2017. Newspapers, being what they where in 1947, got a hold of some pictures of Motorcyclists having fun at the event. The press decided to embellish the facts and transformed the story into a torrid tale of Bikers taking over a small town! More negative news stories soon followed. Soon after Hollywood began releasing movies that portrayed Motorcyclists as lawless and evil. Read more...
